I have been a fan of basketball and the NBA since I was 11 years old. When I first watched Michael Jordan on TV I was hooked instantly. I played team basketball for a few years but eventually gave it up.
While I don’t get to play the game much, my love for basketball continues to grow. After forgiving the Timberwolves for trading a favorite player long ago, I’ve grown to love the T-Wolves. Last year I was able to score a media pass to a game against the Lakers. The organization treated me very well and a die hard fan was born.
I finally made it back to the Target Center to see the Wolves play the Phoenix Suns. It was a day game on Sunday which made it easier to drive the 3.5 hours to the game (one way).
The team lost, but I had a great time. This will not be the last time I will be at the Target Center for a game. The Timberwolves are now in my regular rotation each year along with the Twins and the Vikings. It’s probably good I don’t live in the Metro because I’ve looked at Timberwolves memberships (their season tickets). I would get a membership in a heart beat if I lived closer to the cities.
